KYC / AML / PLD policy

AuraxAI provides clear information, automated analytical tools and personal support. The user retains control over decisions and funds, and should carefully assess risks, costs and own goals before using them.

1. Introduction

KYC (Know Your Customer) covers the checks used to identify each customer. AML/CTF measures help detect and prevent money laundering and terrorism financing. Together, these procedures check that each account belongs to a real person, that funds come from legitimate sources and that unusual activity is reviewed promptly.

2. What is KYC

KYC involves identifying each customer and confirming the accuracy of the information they provide: identity, address and, where applicable, the nature of their business. The verification is based on official documents and, if necessary, on a comparison between the presented document and the live recording. Until verification is complete, some account features remain restricted.

3. What is AML / PLD

AML (anti-money laundering) and PLD (prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering) cover the system continuously: risk assessment of each relationship with the customer, monitoring of the operation, examination of atypical transactions and, when the legal criteria are met, reporting to the competent authorities. This system applies to all accounts, regardless of the amount engaged.

4. Why identity verification is needed

Verification has four specific goals: prevent fraud and identity theft, protect your account from any takeover by a third party, comply with legal obligations applicable to the platform, and reduce financial risks associated with illegal transactions. It protects the users themselves: the verified account can be reliably restored in case of loss of access.

5. Necessary documents

The verification is based only on the following documents:

  • valid official identification document (identity card or passport), visible from all four corners;
  • proof of address older than three months (energy bill, bank confirmation);
  • live recording (selfie) compared to the ID to confirm that you are the owner of the document.

No other documents are required at the registration stage. If the case specifically requires an additional document, it has been expressly provided to you by the requested support, with the reason for the request.

6. Verification process, step by step

Five steps separate registration from a fully functional account.

Registration

You create your account with your name, email and phone number.

Documents

You provide your information and upload the above documents.

Automatic check

The system checks the readability, validity and consistency of documents in just a few minutes.

Manual review

If any doubt remains, the analyst reviews the file and may request additional information.

Confirmation

You are notified of the result; the account is changed to a verified status or a correction request is sent to you.

7. Enhanced due diligence (EDD)

When the profile has a higher risk, for example, unusual volumes or the origin of funds that needs to be specified, Enhanced Due Diligence is applied: additional documents on the origin of funds and, if applicable, information about your professional situation. This phase remains exceptional, and you are still informed of the exact reason for the request.

8. Verification deadlines

The automatic check is usually completed within a few minutes. When manual control is required, the delivery time depends on the quality of the submitted documents and the amount of files in progress; it goes from a few hours to a few working days. A complete file and readable from the first send is the best way to avoid back and forth.

9. Reasons for refusal

The audit may be rejected or suspended for the following reasons: invalid, expired or illegible documents; inconsistency between reported data and submitted documents; suspicion of forgery; lack of response to requests for additional information; and, in general, any indication that the account does not serve the person who created it. The rejection is notified with an explanation and a new attempt is possible after the correction.

10. Tracking Transactions

The business is continuously monitored with regard to the account profile. Atypical activity, for example sudden acceleration volumes or movements inconsistent with the history, may trigger a review and, during that review, a temporary limitation of a particular function such as pulling. Uploading occurs as soon as the review is complete.

11. User responsibility

You must provide accurate, up-to-date and reliable information, and update it if anything changes. Knowingly providing false information or falsified documents will result in account closure and may constitute a criminal offence. If you are in doubt about a requested document, ask support before sending: we never request information without indicating its purpose.

12. Retention and protection of data

KYC/AML data is retained for the period specified by applicable law after account closure, then deleted. They are stored encrypted and accessible only to authorised persons. Data categories, exact durations and your rights are detailed in our Privacy policy.

13. Data transfer

Depending on the processing needs, your verification data may be communicated to strictly defined categories: identity verification service providers, technical service providers hosting systems, internal compliance group affiliates and regulatory or judicial authorities when required by law. No further transfer without your consent.

14. Compliance with requirements

This policy follows the Australian anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements applicable to the services provided. It is reviewed when those requirements change. Ask for the identity and registration details of the entity providing the service through our support.
